Rosemary is a wood-like herb which can perfectly survive Dutch winter time. It originally originates from Southern Europe and Asia. Rosemary has a strong aromatic flavour and is widely used for odouring soap products.

Salicornia sp. belongs to the family of the Chenopodiaceae (Amaranthaceae) A plant family that holds among it vegetables like spinach, beet. The young green tips are harvested in a very young stage. That's why we call them sometimes sea asparagus. Besides salts (sodium, potassium and calcium) Salicornia accumulates a lot of minor elements (Iron, Iodium, Cupper...) Fresh Salicornia can be eaten raw or quickly fried . The vegetable fits well with fish dishes.
