Lovage is a garden herb which is also known as Maggi. This herb originates from the southern region of Europe. The Romans took along lovage on their conquests through Europe. Due to this, lovage is well known through Europe and North-America.
Due to the aromatic flavour, thyme is used widely in soap industry. The flowers and leafs are also applied for preparing tea and treacle. Furthermore the sweet, but strong, aroma is excellent for spicing vegetables, fish, meat, sauces, and liqours (Benedictine).
