Melisse is a plant which has a strong lemon fragrance. Melisse mainly grows in Southern Europe but can perfectly be bred in Holland because during winter this herb can live on due to its strong roots.
Melisse is a perfect remedy against muggets. Muggets possess an excellent olfactory organ and have an aversion to lemon odour.
Usually only the thin stalks are being used with food preparation, because the thick ones can become stern. Chives are mostly used in dishes like salad.
The spheres at the end of the stalks can not be taken for consumption. Consumption can result in serious hallucination or concentration problems.
