Coriander is mostly used in the Asian kitchen. Coriander originates from the Middle-East and Southern-Europe. A big difference in taste exists between the seed and the leafs of this herb. For some people, the leafs taste a little like soap. For other people, they taste a little like parsely influenced with lemon.
Basil has strong fragrance and aroma. This herb is mainly used in the Italian kitchen and with tomato dishes. Furthermore, basil has a healing function to improving digestion, and reducing head aches and infections.
